About This Trip

Our Peru expedition has it all! Culture, adventure, and most importantly, impactful opportunities to serve. After arriving in Lima, you will quickly board a plane to the beautiful city of Cusco nestled at over 11,000 feet. While you get acclimatized, participate in a community outreach project providing food and necessary items to those in need. Enjoy some of the world’s finest textile shopping and even pet a real alpaca! Stay and eat among the people in their homes and hostels that offer a cultural experience like no other. Serve in villages for underprivileged and abused teen girls, and help in our freshwater and sustainable farming causes. Prepare to work hard, long, and fast paced days while pushing yourself out of your comfort zone. Exact details of your service projects will be discussed as details are finalized closer to trip dates.

Quickly head up to the Andes for a mountain bike ride of your dreams. Zipline across giant mountain ravines and sit in thermal hot springs. With each new adventure and a beautiful eight mile hike, you’ll be one step closer to Aguas Callientes, the base of Machu Picchu. Check Machu Picchu, one of the 7 wonders of the modern world off your bucketlist! Take the historic train back to Cusco and prepare for the final experience of swimming with sea lions. Join this fast paced trip for the experience of a lifetime!

*All participants should be in good health and ready to move at high altitudes. Anyone with heart or other conditions, please consult your doctor before signing up for this high adventure and fast paced trip.

Questions about this trip?

Who can apply for a service expedition/trip?

Service trips are open to adults over the age of 18 or family groups. The minimum age of participants within a family group is 8 years old. If you are younger than 18 and would like to attend without your family, you must apply with a chaperone and obtain a parent consent form.

You will need to be able to effectively care for yourself and family members including allergies and other mental or physical restrictions. Participants should be healthy enough to participate in long days of working and playing hard with a rigorous schedule. Many expeditions also have portions of the trip that are filled with adventure, and sleeping accommodations may involve camping. Review the itinerary to be sure it is the right fit for you.
